Hello, I'm Sophie

A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Switzerland wasn't in the long-range plan. Like many expat moves, it started as a work opportunity and soon grew into something far greater.
The initial months were demanding— unfamiliar processes, routines, and expectations. Daily chores seemed more tangled than they ought to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt secure.
Why I Built PineRidgePanel
Most online resources were either corporate relocation guidance or superficial tourism content. What was lacking was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in Switzerland.

This site is:

This site isn't:
- Not a tourism authority resource

- Not a generic travel blog
